Yogi botanist and marketer mentor Rachel Lai on dualism

Mind is a nonphysical
and therefore,
non-spatial
—substance

Adulting is about embracing inevitable change and deconstructing identities

I use to overcompromise my values for the sake of securing more clients for the business. Marketing products or services in the name of profitability is pretty much the kind of world we got moulded into. Im becoming way less judgmental of that reality. Money matters based on the system we live in and this is a privileged statement.

I have always admired people with discipline. Beyond that seemingly greener side of life, there’s actually a lot of value that arises from consistency. We’re just conditioned to stay fixed in patterns that steers us away from clarity.

Overthinking about the way we utilize our social media channels – be it individuals or businesses. Overthinking about what my next post should be, as if it defines my personality. My latest predicament is that freedom and responsibility must go hand in hand. With the freedom we have through internet, i believe that we need to be responsible for the kind of messages we share. All monotonous acts of scrolling and tapping and swiping – could potentially be a replication of the patterns that we work so hard to break way from. How do we rise above these timelines?

While I’m still adjusting at the sound of my own voice, there’s no turning back. It has been good practice for me to learn to speak up.

Being an avid listener, I seem to think that my perspective doesn’t really matter. Thoughts and feelings arises internally and I always let them pass through. What a joy it has been to step out of my comfort zone.
